The Hub's call

Made at 9:00 AM ET, after the 8:30 data

BULLISH· medium confidence✗ Wrong — SPY closed −1.11%

Bullish bias maintained as rotation into defensive sectors offsets tech weakness

Trend remains long and sector rotation into Healthcare and Staples provides a solid foundation despite mixed premarket data.

The market is showing resilience with Healthcare and Consumer Staples leading, while tech remains a laggard. We will look for strength in leaders like TEAM and ZETA while monitoring for potential support holds in TSLA and BE ahead of their earnings next week. Expect choppy conditions until the 9:45-10:00 AM range is established.

Macro read: Rising 10Y yields and mixed futures are pressuring tech, while a lower dollar and VIX support a cautious bullish outlook. Energy remains a key sector to watch for relative strength.

The plan

If / then, and the levels it hangs on

  • IfSPY holds above 769.7 pivot → Look for a test of 774.96 R1.
  • IfQQQ fails to hold 724.29 pivot → Expect a retest of 719.15 S1.
